Packaging of Fresh Meat Products
The biggest problem of meat producers is that fresh red meat has a short shelf life and loses its natural color after a certain period. The only available solution to such problems is the “MAP” packaging method. At this point, packaging of especially fresh red meat requires very good equipment and rigorous work. Our MAP machines, we produce under the Pona Pack brand, operates with a system which is used for red meat, is gas-compliant and where the gas control is handled by sensitive sensors.
Thus, a shelf life of 8-12 days is provided for red meat without losing its natural color. It is highly efficient packaging method featuring ease of handling and safe storage.
